| | | We started our group with members of similar interests, mainly tortoises, keeping with the aim of providing better care and facilities for tortoises. we have been a non-profit making organisation and any spare funds are used to improve the lives of our tortoises. We endeavour to discourage the importation of wild caught animals and encourage successful captive breeding.Our conservation policy is to promote healthy captive breeding. This will stop importation of tortoises from the wild, To prevent Cruelty to and to care for sick and neglected tortoise.
To advance the education of the public and to provide training in the care and welfare of tortoise.
To preserve and protect endangered species and their natural habitats.
To establish and maintain a national resource and information centre providing assistance, advice and education regarding the objectives.
To raise funds and invite and receive contributions from any person or persons, corporations or other organisations whatsoever, by the way of loan, subscription, donation and otherwise.husbandry to help with this and to run the sanctuary. |

| | | | | | | | The Moorlands Kennels and Cattery is situated in the village of Condover a few miles south of Shrewsbury in an idyllic rural setting. We (Sue and Mal Tipton) bought The Moorlands back in 2000 and it continues to be a family run business. We have been involved with dogs and rescue for the last nine years in a dramatic career change and now own five dogs of our own. We have a genuine love of all animals and aim to give every animal that comes into our care the very best attention. |
