For over 35 years Barjo have been the leading manufacturers of quality Cages and Guards, with service to man's best friend!

The company was established in the UK early on in the 1970’s by Barbara Woodhouse and her partner Joan Cudd who joined their names to call the business ‘BARJO’ and introduced the UK to the use of the indoor/car kennel.

In 1987 the business was further developed by the late Geoff Caldwell, who used his knowledge of engineering and his love of dogs to design a range of tailor made kennels and guards that would fit the various types of cars on the road today. The business continues to run in the capable hands of his daughter Julie Mitchell who has worked alongside her ‘Dad’ for 23 years.

At Barjo we pride ourselves in the quality of our products and customer service. Over 70% of BARJO sales are reorder and recommendation. Our high level of customer service has been recognised by most major canine charities and professional service organisations which include ‘Guide dogs for the blind’ ‘Hearing dogs for the deaf’ ‘Police and HMS forces etc.
